Competition in the ORECA Group: more than its core value, its raison d’être!
The Team
As a racing team, ORECA has had success in all disciplines – openwheel, rally, rally-raid, super-tourisme and of course GT and prototypes.
Multiple winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (GTS), winner of the 2011 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona in 2000, champion in Le Mans Series in LMP1 and GT1. Wins et titles in F2, F3, Rally-Raid, European Rally Championship, J-WRC, etc.
ORECA works this season with the biggest manufacturers. Partner of Toyota Motorsport GmbH Le Mans project, ORECA provides operations support for this project. The team brings its experience in sportscars, and specifically of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it has competed for several seasons. The team is also in charge of building and managing on-track the Skoda Fabia “Ice” for Skoda Racing Team which enter Trophée Andros.
The championships
In addition to the Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup, the Seat Leon Super Copa and the Winter Series, ORECA became in 2011 the promoter-organiser of the French circuit championship on behalf of the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile. The « GT tour » includes 7 meetings between April and October 2012.
